Portrait of An English Harpsichord

We are delighted that we have a stock of Steven Devine’s second solo recording, “Portrait of an English Harpsichord”.  This programme was designed to show off the wonderful 1756 Kirckman harpsichord, formerly part of the Finchcocks Musical Museum.  It contains solo music by Arne, JC Bach, Handel (his “Harmonious Blacksmith” Variations) and others as well as a violin sonata by Joseph Gibbs and a fascinating piece for keyboard with violin accompaniment by Joseph Kelway, deaturing the violinst Catherine Martin.
