Newly available: a new edition of J C Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in E flat Major Opus 7 Number 5.
Johann Christian Bach (1735 – 1782), known as “The London Bach”, first published his “Second Set of Concertos” in 1770. The six concerti were advertised as “Opera VII” and suitable for harpsichord or pianoforte.
This E flat concerto, the fifth of the set, is scored (like the others in the opus) for two violins and ‘cello.
This set contains one downloadable PDF file which has the full score, a separate keyboard part and the violin and ‘cello parts.
